It was all Australia on the final day of the Super Trans Tasman Open series in Auckland; but unfortunately it was little consolation for the reigning world champs, as New Zealand had already taken out the 2013 Trans Tasman Open Championship on the back of their series wins in the Mens & Mixed Open divisions!

New Zealand have proven age is no barrier, taking on the incumbent world champions, Australia, and claiming the Masters Trans Tasman series in Auckland, with scalps in the M30s, W30s and Snr Mxd Divisions.

Australia proved too strong across all divisions in the Super Trans Tasman Youth series, taking the series with clean sweeps in the 18 Girls, 20 Girls, and 20 Boys, and a 2-1 series win in the 18 Boys.

It is with pleasure that the Federation of International Touch (FIT) announces the appointment of Erick Acker (France) as FIT President through until AGM 2015, as well as the appointment of two new FIT Board Directors: Mel Mallam from Switzerland (legal and international sport expertise) and Angela Calder from Australia (sport development and international sport expertise).
