The draw for the first Asia Pacific Opens Touch Cup being hosted between 23rd and 26th April in Mudgee, New South Wales has now been announced.

Following a visit to China last month, FIT is delighted to announce that we have agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Touch Football with the China Rugby Football Association (CRFA).

Working with the Japan Touch Association (JTA), we are delighted to announce that international touch will return to Japan next year with the inaugural Asia Pacific Seniors Touch Cup. The event will take place between Thursday 8th and Saturday 10th October 2026 at the Tochigi Sports Park in Utsunomiya, an hour north of Tokyo.

A significant step forward for the sport of Touch Football was taken last month as FIT COO, Chris Simon and board director, Topy Xu met with the Chinese Rugby Football Association (CRFA) in Beijing.
