England Touch took six of the nine golds on offer at the largest European Youth Touch Championships held at the University of Warwick in Coventry last weekend. France and Ireland stopped them taking a clean sweep with golds in the X15, B18 and X20 respectively.

After 358 games across a little over 4 days of international competition, England took the overall honours, winning 10 of the 13 divisions on offer including the coveted Men’s and Women’s Open’s titles. But France prevented an Open’s clean sweep with their first gold in the Mixed Open beating England 9-6 in the final. France also took the Men’s 45 division whilst Wales claimed the Men’s 50 Gold Medal.

A record 78 teams took to the fields as action got underway in the first full day of competition at the 2026 European Touch Championships in Vichy, France.

FIT is delighted to announce that Pippa Bourke – former England Touch Head of Elite Operations, has joined the organisation as part of a growing Events Team.

The Federation of International Touch (FIT) and England Touch Association (ETA) have today confirmed that the 2026 European Youth Touch Championships (EYTC) will be hosted at the University of Warwick between Thursday 13th and Sunday 16th August.
