On behalf of FIT and its members, I announce with a very heavy heart the passing of Dennis Coffey, Secretary General of the Federation of International Touch.
There is so much to say as we reflect on his life.
He was and will remain a great ambassador of Touch.
He shared his expertise and his passion for the game around the globe.
He was instrumental in the creation of the game, the playing rules and the development of our sport.
He worked tirelessly on the SportAccord application to give Touch the recognition it deserves as a sport in its on right and it is my wish that the Board and the Touch Community honour him by successfully completing what he started.
He will be missed and I trust that we will continue to maintain the high standards he strived to accomplish.
Carol, Andrew, Emma and grandchildren, we support you in your time of grief and we extend to you all, our continued friendship.
