Worlds Best Go Head to Head

Arguably the hottest Touch players on the planet went head to head last week when Australia's "Elite 8" series was held at the home of the last World Cup: C.ex Coffs International Stadium, in Coffs Harbour, Australia.
The series pits the best players in the country - 3 teams from Queensland, 4 from NSW, and a 'barbarian' style team from the remaining Australian states - against each other in the Mens Open, & Womens Open divisions, and sits alongside the National Touch League, which also sees a strong field of Touch playing talent on show.
With State of Origin, and Australian representation on the line for the forthcoming Trans Tasman series, the cream of the crop rose to the top and put on some of the best Touch seen since Australia took World Cup honours last May.
In a scintillating day of finals action it was the Cowboys (formerly the "Outlaws") and the Broncos (formerly the "Chiefs") who took the gold in the Men's & Women's divisions respectively.
All the action - and there's plenty of it - can be seen on Touch Football Australia's YouTube channel.
