Nelson Mandela was attributed with saying: "Sport has the power to change the world, the power to inspire, the power to unite people in a way that little else can." And so with that belief firmly entrenched, England Touch is pleased to announce it's support of the Bhubesi Pride in Africa.

Nelson Mandela was attributed with saying: "Sport has the power to change the world, the power to inspire, the power to unite people in a way that little else can." And so with that belief firmly entrenched, England Touch is pleased to announce it's support of the Bhubesi Pride in Africa.

Bhubesi Pride is a volunteer project working on behalf of UK charity, United Through Sport. Together they have previously assembled "..highly qualified teams to carry out rugby coaching missions, using the sport as a tool for education and development in Africa." Touch has its place within this project, which is looking for volunteers passionate about Touch in 2014, to work with schools and communities in 10 African countries.

For those with a sense of adventure and with a desire to explore the beauty of Africa while promoting Touch & establishing new links across the continent, this could be something you wish to embark upon — in essence you can coach Touch, and see Africa!

Now engaged with year two of project work in Africa the expedition coaching team is currently in Ethiopia.

See Bhubesi Pride for contact information and how you can help promote England Touch & our sport in Africa.
