Draw confirmed for the first Asia Pacific Opens Touch Cup

The draw for the first Asia Pacific Opens Touch Cup being hosted between 23rd and 26th April in Mudgee, New South Wales has now been announced.
Tapping us off will be the Mixed Open category, with China and Tonga facing each other on the stadium field number 1. They join Australia, Hong Kong China, New Zealand, Philippines and Samoa who will play one another in a round robin before semi-finals and final for the top four placed teams.
Meanwhile in the Men's Open, Australia and New Zealand will be expected to progress as winners in each of the pools. Australia will face The Cook Islands, Singapore, Chinese Taipei and first up Sri Lanka in Pool A. Meanwhile New Zealand will come up against Lebanon first, before facing Hong Kong China, Samoa and Greece in Pool B.
And lastly, the Women's Open, which will feature an 8-team round robin stage, before semi-finals and final. Round 1 will see the hosts start against Singapore whilst New Zealand will face Lebanon. Hong Kong China will play the Philippines and Chinese Taipei will face Samoa.
