FIT announces constitutional changes that will launch the next phase of expansion for the emerging global game
The Board of the Federation of International Touch (FIT) is preparing for life after COVID-19 with a raft of corporate changes.
Bill Ker, Secretary General, FIT said “These changes will set our game on a course of rapid expansion over the next decade and beyond.”
Circulate the draft constitution
The FIT Board has determined that the Amended Draft Constitution being prepared for a Special General Meeting (SGM) of all NTOs will be circulated to the entire Touch community and the public. However, all community feedback must be channelled through NTOs.
The amended FIT Draft Constitution (version 1.8) is currently being reviewed prior to distribution. However, the FIT Draft Constitution Version 1.7 is available HERE
The SGM scheduled to be held 18 September 2021 has been postponed to a date yet to be confirmed.
Draft Constitution Forum Outcomes
During the Forum discussion held on 1 August 2021 between the FIT Board, FIT Constitution Review Committee (FCRC) members and NTOs it was decided to distribute the FIT Directors (full) Position Descriptions.
