Super Trans Tasman Set to Rock Down Under

It's only three weeks until Australian & New Zealand teams will battle it out in Auckland in the 2013 Super Trans Tasman Series.

In what will be the biggest ever Trans Tasman battle between the two nations, Australia will take on New Zealand across 12 divisions at Trusts Stadium, Waitakere, Auckland from Tuesday, 5 February until Sunday, 10 February 2013.

The Youth divisions (18's Boys and Girls and 20's Boys and Girls) will be up first, playing their three tests on Tuesday, 5 February, Wednesday, 6 February and Thursday, 7 February. The Australian teams will be hopeful of continuing their strong performances in the Youth divisions, having claimed the 2009 and 2011 Youth Trans Tasman titles in recent years.

The five Masters divisions (Men's and Women's 30's, Men's 40's, Men's 50's and Senior Mixed) will be next to represent their country, from Thursday, 7 February until Saturday, 9 February. Australia is the current Trans Tasman title holder in the Masters divisions following its 2010 Masters Trans Tasman Series win in Townsville.

The three Open's divisions (Men's, Women's and Mixed) will round out the event and we are set for yet another exciting series between the world's top two countries. Australia holds the current Trans Tasman title following their 3-0 series win in Mudgee in April last year and the Australian Open teams are also the World Cup champions following their wins at the 2011 World Cup.

The Open divisions will battle it out on Friday, 8 February, Saturday, 9 February and Sunday, 10 February in what will be another cracking battle between the arch rivals.

As well as full on International Touch there will be curtain raisers from NZ's up and coming juniors from under 9's to under 13's, Turbo Touch demo game and lots of local talent from dancers to singers in between the games to keep you entertained. It's a great day, night, week out for family and friends who want to be completely entertained.
