Records are made to be Broken!

On the 10th September 2010, 28 players (14 women and 14 men) from the Emerald Touch Association in Queensland, Australia, started playing touch at 2.00pm on Saturday and just kept playing to see if they could break a World Record. The first time ever attempted in the World! The day grew into afternoon, then into night - the lights went on, the music played, a talent quest performed and still they played... Whilst the Emerald Assoc clocked the attempt at 28hrs and 20 seconds, a check of Guiness World Records today (Jan 20th) has confirmed the record has indeed been accepted at an official duration of 27 hours; team BMA defeating team Rio Tinto, 302-288 (surely another record for the biggest scoreline in Touch?) Anyone care to challenge the record??
