Keeping Up with the Jones

Touch Football Singapore (TFS) has taken a huge stride in the development of Touch within the country, via the appointment last month of Mr Greg Jones as their new General Manager / Technical Director.

Greg hails from Australia and has a history in the sport dating back almost three decades. A Level 2 Coach, Level 2 Referee, and Level 2 Selector - Greg also holds accreditation in Referee & Coach Presenter Courses. As a former Development Officer, and Coaching & Technical Director for Queensland (Australia), Greg knows what it takes to bring the sport of Touch to the fore, and with an impressive coaching record also on his resume, the technical direction of Singapore Touch appears to be in safe hands.

Greg will work with the current TFS refereee technical panel and instigate a structured coaching program for coaches, so as to lift the overall delivery of school and youth programs, and increase general awareness of the sport.
